It has been constructed in Beijing Wukesong Culture and Sports Center.

The vote among the International Olympic Committee members has proved to be in support of the removal of the game of baseball in the 2012 Olympic Games. These three continental baseball tournaments are Americas Qualifying Tournament, European Championship and Asian Baseball Championships. The nations that have already secured places in the baseball tournament in 2008 Olympic Games are China, the United States, Cuba, the Netherlands and Japan. The final Olympic Qualifying Tournament will be held in the months of March and April in the year of 2008.
