Olympic Games Venue Outside Beijing
Beijing is a host to the 2008 Summer Olympics. Officially this event is called the Games of the XXIX Olympiad. As the event is set to held on August 8, 2008, the timing of the vent is also 08:08:08. It will be held at the Beijing National Stadium. Almost all the sports event will be held in Beijing city except few events. The events like football, marathon swimming, sailing etc, will be held in other cities of China. There are many Olympic games venue outside Beijing. The equestrian event will be held in Hong Kong. Some of the other venues of Beijing Olympics are Beijing Wukesong Culture & Sports Center, Beijing National Indoor Stadium, Olympic Green, Olympic Green Convention Centre and Beijing National Aquatics Centre. There are total of 31 venues for the 2008 Olympics event. The Olympic Games Venue outside Beijing are Quingado, Hong Kong, Tianjin, Shenyang, Qingado and Shanghai. The budget of six venues for the even cost around $2.1 million. The fear of equine disease made the the Olympic committee to choose a venue outside Beijing.

Each Olympic Games Venue outside Beijing is selected by keeping in mind the need of the events. The main venue is Beijing National Stadium which is centerpiece of the event. The stadium has given a name called “Bird's Nest” as the structure of the stadium looks like the bird's nest. The construction of the stadium began in December, 2003. the stadium is into its final completion. Beijing is a wonderful city and is known for its tourist attractions. With Summer Olympics on its way the city is expecting to millions of visitors from around the world. As the city will receive visitors in large number there are many new hotels that have been built in the city.
